ORDER LINKS:Amazon| B&N | Smashword
BOOK SYNOPSIS:
Burned is the next installment of the 10 short story Facile Restaurant series. Each story in the series focuses on a different couple.
Publicist EJ Lasher is not thrilled to hear that her ex-boyfriend, celebrity chef Morgan Jeffries, is visiting Facile, the latest restaurant she’s promoting. She and Morgan did not leave things on a good note – well, technically, she left the note is his knife case and he didn’t notice it for weeks. And she doesn’t look forward to facing Morgan’s famous, profanity-driven temper when he realizes she works for Facile.
Morgan Jeffries made a name for himself with his runaway mouth and talent in the kitchen. Pressured into visiting Facile by his network, he is astonished to find that his hostess for the evening is EJ, known to him as his former girlfriend, “Lizzie.” The sweet girl he once knew has been replaced by some cold, business-like, glamazon. As two old flames meet in Remy Billodeaux’s steaming kitchen, EJ is about to put the “ex” in sex.
REVIEW:
4.75 Hearts Holy Hotness!!!!
They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder. Well when the love of you life walks out and then walks back in it does crazy things to a man’s head. Add in a pain in the ass chef who thinks he is the cat’s meow and said man might just flip his lid.
Morgan & EJ are HAWT!!!! I laugh so hard at how EJ’s boss handles the whole thing. What you ask? You just need to pick up a copy of BURNED and find out. 🙂
Great second book in the Facile Restaurant series!! Can’t wait for the next installment.

The steamy Costa Rican jungle brings out the bear in Declan MacBride when he and new operative Kendra Carlsen are ambushed. In the midst of relying on each other to survive, and fighting his explosive attraction to Kendra, this shifter is about to lose control
REVIEW:
3.5 Hearts As a reward for being a model employee Kendra is finally getting her chance to go out in the field. It should be a simple trip down to Costa Rica, observe the team and then head home. But that is not exactly how it goes. Let’s just say things get dirty really fast.
Declan is not thrilled about his newest teammate. But like the good little soldier he is he will deal with it. That is right up until Kendra is in the crosshairs of the enemy. At that moment Declan’s beast is fully unleashed.
Another good story from Ms. Tyler. The ongoing plot in the X-Ops keeps getting more and more twisted with each book. I keep trying to figure who, what and why. Oh and a new character drops in……..

TITLE: Chasing Danger
SERIES #: Deadly Ops #2.5

BOOK SYNOPSIS:
From the New York Times bestselling author of Bound to Danger, a tale of a woman in danger and the one man who will keep her safe at all costs…

And things only get worse after a knife wielding maniac tries to kill her. Desperate for help, Hannah must turn to the one man she never thought she’d see again.

She might be angry at him, but when it appears she has a stalker, Dax moves her under his roof and into his protection.
Unfortunately, whoever wants Hannah dead will stop at nothing. And if Dax can’t identify the perpetrator in time, it could be too late to discover if there is more between him and Hannah than just heated passion
REVIEW:
3.5 Hearts Hannah Young has seen her share of drama. Being kidnapped will do that to a girl, but thankfully she was saved and the wonderfully sex Dax was there for her. While right up to the time he stood her up. But he is back. But will Hannah give him a chance? Or does faith have other plans for her
Dax Costas is in love with Hannah. But disappearing is not the best way to show someone you care. But nothing will stand in his way this time. All Dax needs is to get Hannah alone for a few minutes and to explain.
Chasing Danger was a quick read, but exciting read. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

TITLE: The Dangers of Dating a Rebound Vampire

NARRATOR: The Equally Awesome Amanda Ronconi

BOOK SYNOPSIS:
In the next book in Molly Harper’s beloved Half Moon Hollow paranormal romance series, Gigi starts her first job (at Vampire Headquarters), gets over her first love, and may even fall for her first vampire!
Gigi is no longer an innocent teen. All grown up and looking for love, her family and friends worry she’ll go for the sexy, alluring vampire instead of a nice, safe human. But sexy and alluring, with a penchant for biting, could be just what Gigi wants
REVIEW:
What is better than a Molly Harper story read by Amanda Ronconi? Uummmm, I can’t think of one thing at the moment. I love everything about the world the Molly has created.
Gigi has popped up in multiple books in the past that it was so much fun to finally see Gigi all grown up and fighting for what she wants. Even if big sister Iris and her very over protective brother-in-law try to ground her to her room every step of the way.
But Gigi is just as tough as Iris and Cal has trained her very well. But Gigi just met her match in Mr. Tall Dark and Bitey. (I know right. Mr. Tall, Dark and Bitey. Hahahaha. God I love this book.) But Gigi has a few more problems, like a new job, a new unwanted admirer, a curse and a little battle with some deadly nightshade.
As always Molly writes an amazingly fun, laugh out loud, “oh my god is that the last page NNNNOOOO’ story. Then you add in Ms. Ronconi and you have an great awesome read. Amanda brings the whole Half Moon Hollow characters to life. I have personally loved every book that these two have collaborated on (and I am already having withdrawals waiting for the next book).
If you have yet to step into Molly’s world of crazy fun paranormal, sometime deadly, yet always full of laughter and love series. I ask you “why the heck not?”.

Instead of taking Angel into custody, Tonio finds himself risking his career to keep her safe. And as the beautiful woman tears down all his defenses, Tonio realizes he’ll risk his very life to set her free.
REVIEW:
3.5 Hearts As always Ms. Davis takes us on a wild journey of ups and downs. But there was something off on this story for me. I can’t say the story was not good because it was. I just personally felt a little discounted to the characters. I have loved Tonio in the prior stories was really excited to read his story. So I can’t really put my finger on the discount, but I do believe it was all me.
I plan on re-reading On the Run when I personally am in a better mind frame.

REVIEW:
Venom is the one Dragonfury warrior that never thought he would ever find his mate. Yet a night of going AWOL Venom has done just that. Despite everything thing that make him up he finally found her. But being the hopeless romantic he is, Venom wants to woo Evelyn the way a human would. But that means letting her walk away.
By walking away, Evelyn just went from the fry pan into the fire.
Evelyn Foxe has not been have a good couple of months. First she get’s fired, then she finds out that mob is after her because of her mother, and lastly she finds herself doing something she never would have ever thought she would have to do. But when her first John walks through the door there is something, something very strange about this man. Yet, she is drawn to him.
But she must walk away. Because if she doesn’t walk away right now you may never want to leave him ever.
Venom!!!! Yay!!! Finally Venom get’s his story.
I enjoyed Venom story, although I was a little sad that Venom had to share so much of his story with Ivar and Gage. These storylines are important to the series, but I really wanted more of Venom. There were also a few questions and topics that I felt were left unresolved. I am hoping that we will get some closure on these in the next book. Overall, I loved Venom’s story.
We got a new narrator for Fury of Obsession. This is the first time that I have listened to Cole Ferguson. I will say that at first I was a little confused and sad, mostly because I was use to the old narrator. But after a little bit and a few chapters I started to enjoy Cole. I will say that I think he did Venom perfectly *fans self*. I mean come on Venom is danger wrapped in yummy.
I am looking forward to the next book in this series and I hope that Cole will continue as the narrator. Question is who is next?

Yet when a spectre from Lily’s past threatens their growing bond, Rhys is forced to choose with his heart, or lose this woman who has become his one chance at salvation.
REVIEW:
I read Night’s Blaze in four parts here are my thoughts after each part. A full review of all four parts will be posted on the blog during release month.
Review of Part One:
Oh it is good to be back with Ms. Grants Dragons. They are all so snarly and yummy. Where to start with Rhys? Poor guy. I feel so much for him right now. But at the same time I want to slap him silly. Come on Rhys get it together Lily needs you.
As always reading this book in parts is both fun and nerve racking, because I am ready for part two now!!!!
Review of Part Two:
Oh why must it be in four parts… Just when things are getting good. Bam end of part two. I am dying to know what part Henry will play in… well you need to read to find out what I am talking about. Rhys and Lily are so sweet together. But I wish she would just open up to him and tell him her problems.
On to part three……
Review of Part Three:
Talk about leaving me hanging… Authors just love to give readers anxiety. But I guess without a little drama the story would be boring… I could not wait and had the luxury of having part four waiting for me. So off I go.
Review of Part Four:
Oh my goodness more and more anxiety. Man alive I am glad I didn’t have to wait to read the final part of this story. Well we may have gotten a happy ever after I think we were left with a sneak peak into what and who is torturing Rhi. But the ending. OMG NO RHI!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOO.
Overall review.
Another great Dark King story. Although, we are left with a lot of questions about what is going to happen next. Just thinking about it gives me some anxiety. I really enjoyed Rhys and Lily.

TITLE: Still The One
SERIES #: Animal Magnetism
CHARACTERS: Darcy & AJ
AUTHOR: Jill Shalvis
PUBLICATION DATE: April 7, 2015
ORDER LINKS:Amazon| B&N
BOOK SYNOPSIS:
Love is a dare in the sexy new romance by the award-winning New York Times bestselling author of the Animal Magnetism novels and the Lucky Harbor series…
Darcy Stone is game for anything—except sexy Navy vet and physical therapist AJ Colten, the guy who’d rejected her when she’d needed him most. Now the shoe is on the other foot and he needs her to play nice and help him secure grants for his patients. Unfortunately Darcy can’t refuse. She needs the money to fund her passion project: rescuing S&R dogs and placing them with emotionally wounded soldiers.
AJ admits it—Darcy is irresistible. But he’s already been battle-scarred by a strong-willed, vivacious, adventurous woman like Darcy, and he’s not making the same mistake twice—until he and Darcy are forced to fake a relationship. Growing closer than they’d ever imagined possible, Darcy and AJ have to ask themselves: how much between them is pretend? What’s the real thing? And where does it go from here?
KELLY’S REVIEW:
4 Stars Darcy has lived by the motto of don’t love and you won’t get hurt. But after her accident Darcy is starting to learn that she does need people to lean on. Just as long as it is not the hunky AJ that leaves her all twitterpated.
AJ has loved hard and lost hard. He doesn’t know if he has it in him to do it again. But with Darcy it is just so darn easy. Well Darcy herself is not easy. Oh no, she is a challenge inside a challenge inside a tightly sealed box. But AJ is a patient man.
As always Ms. Shalvis writes a story that tugs at my heartstrings. I really loved this story. When I got to the part with Raisin (she’s a dog) there were tears. I have a soft spot for sweet little doggies like Raisin. Loved AJ and Darcy. It was so much fun to watch these two dance circles around each other.
I can’t wait to see who is next in this series.
JENNIFER’S REVIEW:
4.5 Hearts Darcy spent most of her life traveling the globe, running from the pain of her past and writing travel articles for magazines. Then one day, a horrible car accident changed all that and left Darcy with emotional and physical scars. A.J. has helped Darcy get her life back by working with her every week for months as her physical therapist and helped her find her true passion in life. Saving Search and Rescue dogs when they no longer able to work for S&R and transitioning them to become therapy companions for wounded soldiers. A.J. has always cared for Darcy but has never let her see his true feelings for her until they are forced to spend time together to help A.J. secure a grant so he can continue providing therapy for patients who desperately need it after their insurance benefits have run out. They both discover that faking a relationship is too easy when true feelings are involved and they both may discover that they have a future together if they just can take a leap of faith.
Darcy had built this wall around her emotionally to protect herself from getting involved with anyone and the only person able to break through it was A.J. Her parents never seemed to care for her while growing up so relationships were just fun and games as long as there were no real feelings involved. She was used to traveling the world and never staying at any one place for too long so being in Sunshine for her therapy had changed her in ways she never planned on. She had a home, friends and family and finally a real purpose in life that would help others who experienced what she had. She needed someone to look past the scars and the wall that she had built around herself and love the stubborn, spunky woman that she truly was.
A.J. was a great guy. He helped so many people in his career as a physical therapist and continued to help them even if their insurance was no longer paying for it because it was what they needed to get better. He was just as hard-headed as Darcy was and there were times that I wanted to smack both of these characters because they had love right in front of them. They just had to reach out and grab it, but they were both too stubborn to do it. A.J. knew exactly what Darcy went through with her accident and was afraid to love her due to a previous relationship ending badly. Once they were able to get over the pain of their past they were able to see that sometimes love isn’t always perfect but definitely worth the risk.
This is the sixth book in the Animal Magnetism series and I’m always impressed by the wonderful love stories that Ms. Shalvis creates with each new book that she writes. I’m looking forward to reading her next book coming out later this year.
KIMBERLY’S REVIEW:
4 Stars
I am not sure I have ever read a book from Jill Shalvis that I have not enjoyed and that didn’t make me want to grab the next one in the series. And this was no different.
AJ is so sweet. The strong silent type. Afraid of getting his heart broken and yet is a good guy who deserves to feel the love of a good woman. And Darcy is a crack up. She has been through more than most and yet tries to hold her head high. And then there is Raisin… Oh goodness!
And be forewarned have a bag of gummy bears when you start reading. If you don’t have some you will be heading to the store to get some.

High school math teacher Chelsea Gardner has the perfect plan. She’s tired of dating all the wrong men, and after years of frustration, she’s developed a foolproof list of requirements for finding “The One.”
Bar owner Sebastian “Bash” Palmer finds Chelsea beautiful, smart and fun, but he thinks her list is ridiculous and unnecessary. Intent on proving Chelsea is looking for love in all the wrong ways, he offers to help her find the “perfect” man.
Chelsea knows Bash isn’t the right guy for her—he barely meets one of her criteria—but there’s something about the charismatic man that has her yearning for things that are most definitely not list approved.
Because sometimes, a relationship that looks totally wrong on paper can turn out incredibly right
REVIEW:
Bash is the anti-love, I have been burned before guy who is not looking for anything permanent. Except he has the major hots for the fiery redhead Chelsea.
Chelsea is looking for Mr. Perfect. Oh yes, Mr. Perfect she even has a list of all the qualities that her next man needs to have. But what Chelsea never planned on was Bash.
Love After All is another great story from Ms. Burton. I loved Bash and Chelsea. I loved Chelsea’s list. I even loved when Bash totally steps in it and messes everything up. I just loved this book. I truly enjoy every journey that Ms. Burton has taken me on every time we visit Hope, Oklahoma.

REVIEW:
4.5 Hearts Another great Montana Men story by Ms. Ryan. I loved Blake and Gillian’s story. There was so many ups and downs in this story. Every page brought to light a new issue and a new way to deal with said issue. While there were a few story lines that didn’t get explored as much as I would have liked, I loved how much Gillian grows as a person.
Blake is what every wounded bird ever needs. Blake is patient, yet push. He is gentle, yet doesn’t use too many kid gloves and loves so deeply..
Can’t wait to see what Ms. Ryan has in store for us next.

KELLY’S REVIEW:
Where to begin?
Where to begin?
I am so sad and happy that this is the last of the Sin Brothers books. Happy because we finally get to see Jory and boy howdy is Jory something!!!! But more on Jory in a second. I am super sad that this is the last of the Sin Brothers series. But I have very high hopes that we will see more of the Sin Brothers in the future (trust me I am pretty sure we will).
I have loved the Dean boys from day one. Every book got better and better as the series went on. And with each book I fell in love a little more with each brother. But Jory was always a huge question mark. There were so many questions surrounding him and finally we get those questions answered.
I think after reading book one I called up Ms. Zanetti and begged and pleaded for her to tell me that Jory was going to be okay. And like any evil author she told me to suck it up and keep reading (yes, we have a very loving relationship). So I did just that and Total Surrender was so worth the wait (other than that actual waiting part).
I won’t tell you too much because I don’t want to spoil this book for you. I will tell you that Jory is my favorite of the brothers. I loved reading about him and Piper. Love everything about him, even when he is tricking Piper :). Loved Jory’s dedication and determination. Just flat out loved him..
So here is your warning about Total Surrender. Have tissues!!! And be ready for some water works.
So can’t wait to see what maybe next for the Sin Brothers. If you love them like I did please make sure to pick up a copy of Total Surrender and make sure to tell EVERYONE about this series.
KIMBERLY’S REVIEW:
I have been waiting for Jory’s book since the first chapter of the first book and Zanetti saved the best for last (and that is saying something). Jory has been a soft spot in my heart and it hasn’t changed.
I am so saddened that this is the last of the Dean boys. I mean certainly there are a couple of half brothers in the world right? Come on please!!!! Oh well I will stop begging. Only because I know Zanetti has the next best series already in her head and I can’t wait to read it.
If you have not read the series… well first… WHAT? You need to read this series. But if you haven’t don’t start with this one. You need to read the whole series from the beginning. But trust me you will not be disappointed.
Jory and Piper are perfect. The Dean boys and their women are perfect. This series is perfect which only means I can give it the perfect 5 stars!

REVIEW:
4.5 Hearts Anyone who follows me knows I love audiobooks and I am always looking for my next audio fix. So when Pines came up on my suggestion list I headed over to audible to listen to the sample and within a minute of listening I was sucked in and knew I had to listen to this story. This is both my first book by Blake Crouch and book narrated by Paul Michael Garcia and I enjoyed very much.
Pines is a twisted story that I could easily giveaway with one sentence but I don’t want ruin it for you. But I will say that as the story went on I lost hope, gained hope, lost hope and then was left with a whole lot of WTF?!!?!?
God I want to tell you so much. But I won’t. I am looking forward to what is next for Ethan and the town folk of Wayward Pines, ID.
Oh and if you didn’t know this: Pines is becoming a TV series on Fox in May 2015. I have seen the previews and it looks like it follows book one very closely.
