Viviana, Enchantress of Books and I are beyond excited to double team today’s post. Not only am I hosting the amazingly talented Lorelei King Viviana is hosting Darynda Jones!!!! These two make an amazing pair. Darynda with her quick witted heroine Charley and the super hot out of this world hero Reyes. Lorelei has lent her voice to this amazing story and has brought these characters to life in a way that I didn’t think was possible. Lorelei King is one of the most successful and accomplished American actresses working in the UK today, appearing in numerous films from Hollywood blockbusters such as ‘Notting Hill’ and ‘The Saint,’ to British independent films, such as ‘House of Mirth,’ ’24 Hours in London,’ and ‘Suzie Gold.’Lorelei has appeared as regular and recurring characters in popular British television shows such as Chef, Cold Feet, Alistair McGowan’s Big Impression, Emmerdale and the saucy Mile High. She has also made numerous guest appearances in British comedies and dramas such as Jonathan Creek, Not Going Out, The Robinsons and Monarch of the Glen.
Once described as ‘the best known American voice on radio 4,’ Lorelei has recorded more than 200 programs for the BBC, including the Marx Brothers tribute, ‘Flywheel, Shyster and Flywheel,’ super-hero ‘audio movies’ including ‘Superman,’ ‘Batman’ and ‘Judge Dredd and classic American drama such as ‘East of Eden,’ ‘Ethan Frome’ and ‘A Thousand Acres.’ She appears regularly as a panellist on shows such as ‘Where in the World’ and ‘Wordly Wise’ and has hosted her own talk show, ‘All About Eve.’
Lorelei is a multi- award-winning narrator of audiobooks, recording the works of best-selling authors Janet Evanovich, Darynda Jones and Patricia Cornwell among others.
Her work in animation is extensive, and in America she provides the voices for ‘Wendy’ and ‘Packer’ (among others) in Bob the Builder.
Lorelei is co-owner, with Ali Muirden, of a digital publishing company, Creative Content Ltd.
Born in Pennsylvania and raised in Los Angeles, Lorelei now makes her home in London, where she lives with her husband, actor Vincent Marzello.

I have all of the Charley Davidson books in Kindle and Audible formats and I’m now working on collecting the series in hardcover. I absolutely love these characters! I’ve read the series numerous times and will continue to do so!

Charley Davidson is in my top 3 favorite series. This is the first time I’ve heard it in audio format and Lorelei does it well.
Lorelei makes the books fun to listen to. Darynda is homefolk. She is from Portales, NM and I lived in Clovis for several years. I love her writing and her snarky humor in each book. Listening on audio when I travel or paint makes what I do seem better. One of these days I will paint Charley as I picture her..

Absolutely love Charley (and Reyes of course!) The main time I listen to Audiobooks are in the bath. That way I don’t have to worry about getting my book wet 😉 lol. Loved the clips <3 Now I need to get all of them!
