REVIEW:
I pick up a Hope Ramsey book anytime I see it so I didn’t even read the synopsis when I requested this from NetGalley. And then when I did I couldn’t help but laugh. Why? Because My high school sweetheart and I just got married…. 30 years after our break up. So this book was going to be right up my alley.

I really liked this story. The romance of the parents is sweet but the connection of Ella and Dylan who are trying to break up the upcoming marriage of their parents. But somehow it brings them close together and how now they each really do believe in love.

Ramsey is great at writing for “real” people. The characters are just like us and I love that about her writing.

Worth every page. Can’t wait for the next in the series!

REVIEW:
What if you ended up having to work with your childhood bully? Could you do it? Well that is what Jessica has to figure out. Christopher was terrible to Jessica as kids but now they are adults and he has returned to Magnolia Harbor and wants to build a perfect home there. Jessica is an architect and it is hard for her to trust anything he says. Old feelings of being teased and tricked come up to haunt her.

But as Christopher and Jessica work together their adult feelings start to override their childhood feelings. But there is so much more to their relationship than just working together they have to deal with the city and the people inside it.

I really liked Topher. He is just adorable when he deals with his nephew. And honestly he is who every childhood bully should be as an adult. Kids are mean but adults should be able to look back and realize their mistakes. Jess is a bit slow on the forgiveness but then he put her through a lot. So you can sorta see it.

Another great story from Hope Ramsay.

REVIEW:
3.75 Hearts After Lia finds a hurt puppy in the street she heads to the closest vet office. Noah is called in to help the puppy and sparks fly.

Lia is trying to start over in life after getting out of the Navy. Noah plans on moving back to Charleston.

I enjoyed this story very much. The characters are written very well. The background story seems to be a lead in to the next in the series which I am interested in reading.

This is the second in the series but easily can be a stand alone. Great curl up and get away from it all read. Higgins is high on my read list and should be on yours too.
