When I was a child, the first version of Alice I read included both Alice’s Adventure’s in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There. They are often included together, both in book form and in screen adaptations. Since all that wouldn’t fit on the scarf, I’ve used the common shortened version of Alice in Wonderland. I was absolutely charmed by all the fanciful language and non-sensical characters. This quote is said by the White Queen, and this is the larger quote from the book:
Alice laughed. “There’s no use trying,” she said: “one can’t believe impossible things.”
“I daresay you haven’t had much practice,” said the (White) Queen. “When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast…”

Legends of the Dragon
 
The myriad legends of the Chinese Dragon permeate ancient Chinese civilization and shaped their culture even today. Its benevolence signifies greatness, goodness and blessings. Instead of being feared and hated the Chinese dragons are highly respected creatures of good fortune that bring ultimate abundance, prosperity and good fortune. Chinese mythology says dragons control the rain, rivers, lakes, and seas. Many Chinese cities have pagodas where people used to burn incense to ask the dragons to favor their crops or change the weather. Dragons are referred to as the divine mythical creature.
 
As an animal possessed of magical abilities the Chinese dragon is able to shrink to the size of a silk worm; and then swell up to fill the entire space between heaven and earth. It can make itself visible or invisible, as it so chooses. It can take on human form or that of another animal to carry out some secret mission.

I am deadly serious when it comes to my coffee. I need my morning joe; it is the first thing in the morning that I do. And.. if you are like me, then this is the spoon for you!

Each letter is hand stamped by me onto an upcycled, vintage silverplated spoon. This particular spoon is from the 1946 Queen Bess series by Oneida, and is rather unique, as it has a slightly different shape than your average teaspoon. It is slightly wider and flared at the base of bowl. It also has a matching flower pattern inlaid into the bowl of the spoon.

These spoons are safe to eat off of, and have been washed prior to packaging and shipping.

Have an idea for a spoon but don’t see it listed? Message me and we can work on getting you a custom order! These spoons are COMPLETELY customizable and can be stamped to say anything you want.
