Hi Casey. Welcome to my blog For the Love of Books. I am honored that you took time out of your busy schedule to stop by, answer a few questions and talk about your new story Ruby Red Metallic.
Casey: Thanks so much for having me here!
For the Love of Books: So please tell us a little about yourself:
Casey: I never know what to say when someone asks me that. LOL
I write erotica and erotic romance. I live in the upper Midwest of the US. I have two cats. I love to read and write, and I collect Hot Wheels cars.
FLB: How did you get into writing? And when did you decide to start writing Erotic?
Casey: I started writing when I was about nine years old, I think; mostly in a journal type of thing. I didn’t started writing stories until I around thirteen.
I started writing Erotica four or five years ago on a dare from a friend.
FLB: Have you always wanted to be a writer?
Casey: I’ve always written but never thought of it as a career before, not until I started writing Erotica.
FLB: I always want to know what writers have in their TBR (to be read) pile. Tell us what you have in yours or what book you are looking forward to reading next?
Casey: Right now I’m reading Silent Partner by Renee Vincent. Other books in my TBR pile are Unwrap Me by Savannah Chase, A Bit of Rough by Lucy Felthouse, Negligee Behavior by Shelli Stevens, The Darkest Passion by Gena Showalter, The Last Suppers by Diane Mott Davidson, The Burning Lamp by Amanda Quick, and Trading Up by Brindle Chase. I plan on reading as many as I can while I’m on vacation for two weeks.
FLB: In the Story Ruby Red Metallic Alaina knows her cars. Are you a car buff?
Casey: Actually, no I’m not. I don’t know anything about cars other than how to drive them and put gas in the tank. But I do know a nice car when I see it.
FLB: How did you come up with the idea for Ruby Red Metallic?
Casey: A very close friend of mine suggested I do a story that featured a car. It took me quite some time to come up with the theme and plot because, like I said, I’m not really a car buff.
FLB: Do you think we should share a snippet of the story for the readers?
Casey: I’d be happy too!
The door burst open and slammed against the wall. A big burly man wearing a stained apron charged into the men’s room. “What’s going on in here?” he thundered, his voice bouncing off the tiled walls.
Alaina feigned innocence. “This pervert is exposing himself to me,” she whimpered, eyes widening. “I’m so embarrassed. I just want to get out of here!”
She bolted out the door, taking one last quick look at the middle-aged man before heading out of the restaurant as fast as she could. He had a look of utter shock on his features, his mouth gaped open, and he still held his dick in his hands, his pants in a heap around his ankles.
Alaina pulled the key from her hidden pocket, hopped into the Viper, and started its engine. As she pulled away, both men rushed through the door of the diner. The man had managed to get his pants up before leaving the men’s room, but his shirt was still untucked.
FLB: Well we see any more of Alaina or Scott in the future?
Casey: I haven’t made any concrete decision on that, yet. I have thought about it, but there are other stories that are screaming to get out. So, we’ll see.
FLB: can you tell us what is next for you? Any current work in progress you would like to share?
Casey: Right now, I’m working on a contemporary erotic romance titled Number 69. I’m approximately half-way through writing it. It’s about a woman who meets a hot doctor at an exclusive party.
FLB: If the readers want to find out more about you where can they find you?
