Welcome to Dirty Bits week Madison.
I am so excited to have you here. Thank you for taking time out of your busy life to sit down and answer a few questions.
I have to start off by saying I really enjoyed the two short stories of yours that I read, The Proposal and The Perfect Secretary. Both were wonderful and very different from each other.
For the Love of Books: Madison, please tell us a little bit about yourself. Have you always wanted to be a writer?
Madison: Yes, and no. Reading is my passion, and stories have always swirled around in my head. My husband told me for years to write a book, but I didn’t put pen to paper until January 2009. Now I wonder why it took so long.
FLB: As I said I above I loved The Proposal. Cheri and Blake are so hot together. I didn’t want this story to end. Are we going to get to see them in a story in time in the future? Do you think we should share any tidbits from the story?
Madison: I enjoyed writing about Cheri, and Blake – what can I say… LOVED him. Sends spicy shivers all over just thinking about him. I hadn’t thought about continuing their story, but now that you’ve planted a seed. Hmmmm.
Here’s a small excerpt:
Soft jazz filtered down the hall from the living room, but later on, it could just as easily be Metallica, or maybe even Van Halen as he pressed her naked body against the bank of windows overlooking the city and took her until she screamed out her release. Her sex tightened, and a wave of lust made her dizzy.
As if he could read her thoughts, which she sometimes wondered if he could, he pushed her onto the bed. She fell with a soft whoosh, her legs dangled over the side and a pillow skittered onto the floor.
“Your skin is like silk.” His palm skimmed her calf, moving upwards. “So smooth, so soft.”
Warm lips replaced his hand and slowly, ever so slowly he crept up the inside of her thigh, his breath hot against her skin. “I’ve dreamt about this. I’ve dreamt about you.”
Cheri clutched the satin duvet, waves of desire washing over her, drowning in her own sensuality. Her back arched when broad fingers slipped under the elastic of her panties, and circled the pierced, hooded bud that clamored for attention.
Kneeling before her, his fingers hooked the edge of the lacy scrap, and tugged it down her legs, and once cleared of her deadly shoes, tucked them in his pocket. She’d never gotten a pair of panties back from him, ever. Once, after two days of energy draining sex, and during a moment of lazy cuddling, she’d asked him what he did with them.
A small smile had crossed his firm lips, and as he’d buried his head between her splayed thighs, he told her he kept them in a very safe place. When his tongue has rasped through her slick folds and over her clit, she’d forgotten what she’d asked, and let her body spiral higher with each swipe of his talented tongue.
Her attention came back to the present when she felt his mouth blazing a trail of kisses up her inner thigh. Draping her legs over his shoulders he focused all his attention on her aching sex. Warm fingers slid into her, intimately probing, caressing. Spasms rippled through her midsection when his thumb unerringly found her sensitive bud, swirling over it before drawing the small distended nub into his mouth.
Nerve endings, which had lain dormant for a year, sprang to life. Grasping the covers of the bed with desperate hands, she bucked into his mouth, wanting more. He filled a void that no man had. She’d waited a lifetime for him, and would do anything for him. Anything to quench this overwhelming need eating at her soul.
FLB: The second story that I read of yours was The Perfect Secretary. Oh man where do I get a job like this? Again you left me wanting more, any chance we will get to see Seth, Troy or Sarah in the future?
Madison: The adventures do continue. ‘The Invitation’ is with my editor now, and ‘Taking Dictation’ is in the planning stages. Miss Adams is going to have her hands *wink* full for some time.
FLB: Madison, how do you come up with the ideas for your stories?
Madison: Everywhere. I hear a song, and a word phrase will stick with me, certain jobs lend to thinking, ‘What if?’ Sometimes, just as I’m drifting off to sleep, my muse wakes me up, and all you’ll hear is my husband calling out: “Where are you going now?” “Be right back. I have to write this down before I forget.” I think all writers can empathize with that one.
FLB: Any current Works in Progress you want to share with us? Any more Dirty Bits stories? *fingers crossed*
Madison: Yes. The two sequels to The Perfect Secretary, and I’m toying with a Poker series. Give a whole new definition to 5 card stud.
FLB: What do you find is the hardest part of being a writer?
Madison: Finding time. I work away from home, so all my writing is done in the evenings and weekends. As you know, family and friends can pull you in a million directions, and I reserve two nights a week for family/friends, and Sundays I always have family dinner where my sons, their wives and grandkids descend on our house for a noisy time.
FLB: Anything else you would like to add?
Madison: Thank you for interviewing me. I have one blatant plug. My first full length novel, According to Plan, is slated for release this July. All details will be on our website for Turquoise Morning Press, as well as my own blog www.whereromancelies.com
FLB: Last Question: What did you think of Dirty Bits week?
Madison: I think it’s awesome. We have some talented writers at Sapphire Nights Books, and when our publisher said she had some ideas for naughty stories, we jumped on board. This venue will put our stories out there, and hopefully readers will check them out. They’re fun, outrageous, and of course – just a little bit dirty.
Huge Thank you to Madison again for her time and her wonderful stories. I will be posting reviews of both stories shortly after this interview.
Madison, how can the readers find out more about you? Website? Facebook? Twitter?
