Six Silly Specifics about The Player

1. The song I associate most with The Player is Million Reasons by Lady Gaga

2. I used to play competitive softball. I was a catcher like Easton. And my chest protector may have also said “Thou Shall Not Steal” like his does.

3. The Player was the fastest I’ve ever written a book – 26 days.

4. I chose the fictitious team name Aces as a little nod to the first alpha I’d ever written, Colton Donavan of the Driven series. The heroine of the series, Rylee, likes to call him Ace.

5. In my original outline, Easton was a jerk. For some reason I thought he was going to be an over the top alpha but when I started writing the book I realized that he was actually sweet and it completely changed scenes in the story.

6. I wrote the dog rescue scene because I’d just rescued a dog myself and because Lauren Blakely loves dogs and she’s my friend.
