BOOK SYNOPSIS:
Sometimes being the grim reaper really is that. Grim. And since Charley’s last case went so awry, she has taken a couple months off to wallow in the wonders of self-pity. But when a woman shows up on her doorstep convinced someone is trying to kill her, Charley has to force herself to rise above. Or at least get dressed. She quickly realizes something is amiss when everyone the woman knows swears she’s insane. The more they refute the woman’s story, the more Charley believes it.
In the meantime, the sexy, sultry son of Satan, Reyes Farrow, has been cleared of all charges. He is out of prison and out of Charley’s life, as per her wishes and several perfectly timed death threats. But his absence has put a serious crimp in her sex life. While there are other things to consider, like the fact that the city of Albuquerque has been taken hostage by an arsonist, Charley is having a difficult time staying away. Especially when it looks like Reyes may be involved. Just when life was returning to normal, Charley is thrust back into the world of crime, punishment, and the devil in blue jeans.

I LOVE audiobooks! I have to admit that my current favs are the Dresden Files books as read by James Marsters. There’s something so soothing about having someone else read to you!

I got the first book in audio book and let me tell you it’s just great I love to listen to audio books when I’m driving or cleaning cause I can’t always sit and read a book with a house full of boys.

I am a big fan of audiobooks. I love listening to them. When I worked in an office, I used to listen all the time. It was easy when I was doing data entry, just listen and then type on the computer.

I just recently got into audiobooks and yes, i LOVE THEM! Especially the Darynda Jones’s Charley Davidson series. I would so LOVE to get this one on audiobook bc well hell, to have this story read aloud would be amazing!

i rarely listen to audiobook, but i’ve listened to this series. it’s definitely a fun way of reading while doing other things.
I do listen to audiobooks, because I can “read” while doing other things! I have found some that I love and others, not so much. The performance is almost as important as the story. I would, indeed, like to have this one!
I have tried one audio book but could not get into the narrator but really want to find some audio books that I can listen to while walking on my treadmill. A good story can get me interested in exercising if that is the only time I allow myself to enjoy that story. Right now, I am reading a book on my Kindle but I can’t walk fast and read at the same time so I would like to find some audio books to listen too. I have heard that this series is awesome and would love to try it 🙂

hmm – I have not thought about the exercise angle – I prefer listening to music cd while on the dreadmill – and I walk for half hour – thanks for the idea!
I don’t listen to voice books at all. Especially since they don’t come out on cassettes anymore. My car system only has cassette. Plus the car is the only place I would be sitting still long enough to hear it.
I like audio books. I won a set and never realized how cool it would be to put it on my iphone and listen as I did different things.
